About BULL
BULL is the first and only journal devoted exclusively to Men's Fiction. What Men's Fiction is, however, is a matter open to interpretation. The aim of BULL is to showcase exemplary stories of men's interest that will eventually coalesce into a greater definition of the genre. We believe Men's Fiction may have more to do with style than content, that it is something more than your typical masculine stereotypes, but we may be wrong. In any case, BULL is a home for stories that are smart, bold, brazen, and unabashed, not trite or trashy. This is the sole intention behind our tag "Fiction for Thinking Men."
Our frequency has levelled out to bi-weekly posting of new stories, and our one-question BULLshot author interviews during the bye week. We make every effort to keep the horns full of the best fiction we possibly can, and this, of course, depends on you. See our Submit page for more information, or to otherwise contact or befriend BULL, drop a line to BULLmensfiction@gmail.com.
You can also visit the BULL Parlor, the blogging arm of the BULL operation, where our readers are invited to comment on our stories, send in book reviews, or weigh in on issues of men's interest—in publishing or the world at large. RSS feed or subscription to the blog is also the best way to keep up with releases on the site; you can also follow BULL on Twitter, or become a fan on Facebook.
In addition to our weekly site updates (usually Wednesdays), we've begun compiling stories into printable issues published on a quarterly schedule. Each issue features a bonus story found only on the paper page, so be sure to check them out here.
We've also done interviews here and here if you'd like to get to know us better.
As you're reading this, know that your interest is appreciated and we're glad to have you with us. As we continue to grow be sure to bookmark and check back often, email us if you have any questions or to let us know what you think. We encourage involvement; we want you as a part of this site.
